9 Square in the Air
9 Square in the Air is a fun and extremely popular game for kids of all ages and even adults!
It is a group game that combines volleyball and 9 squares on the ground. The game is played on a 3×3 grid that is elevated above the players’ heads. Each player defends their square by bouncing the ball up and out of their own square and into the other players’ squares. The goal is to get to the center square (often called the King/Queen square) and stay there as long as possible.
This can be setup and played indoors or outdoors and is very popular for church and school events.
